Cardmaking with Mom

Because I am off work right now, I had the chance to spend some time with family. These past couple of weeks I have been hanging out with mom. I first went to visit her in Indiana, then she came home with me for a visit, and then I took her back to Indiana. It was really good to spend some time with her, we never out grow our moms... do we!
While mom was here, we did some card making. Mom is 76 and had never done any card making, but look at these designs she did! (I just helped out with the tools and technical stuff.) Great job mom!

Mom loved this butterfly tree stamp from Unity Stamps.

Mom really wanted a black & white birthday card for a friend so
she came up with this using stamps from Gina K Designs.

This is another b-day card we made using the scraps from the scallop oval we cut for the first card.
Stamps are from PaperTrey Ink. (There was a pretty black & white bow in the top left corner but it must have fallen off when I took this picture ~ oops!)

Love the cards that you and your Mom made. She told me all about them, but words did not do them justice. I love the idea that you were able to use the scraps on the scallop oval. I always save my scraps. I have a friend that goes through my scrap basket when she comes to make cards with me.
Keep on crafting!!
