Wow there is alot going on in this card! I hope it doesn't look too jumbled but when I saw the challenge at 365 cards - 5 buttons & 5 bows - I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and it works for a few other challenges too.
Challenge Entries:
365 Cards - 5 buttons & 5 bows, I added paper faces to flower shaped buttons and made the stems from ribbon and bows.
House of Gilli - easel card with flowers - I think this qualifies! ;)
My Craft Spot - sewing, stitching or faux stitching - I used a white pen to add faux stitches to the label and flowers. My patterned paper already had faux stitching.
Paper Creations Ink - flowers - again, I think this qualifies :)
CARD DETAILS:
I used some flower shaped buttons and removed the shanks. I then gave them paper faces using Peachy Keen face stamps. I used ribbon & bows for the stems and leaves but I only had white ribbon so I colored the stems with Copics G14 Apple Green and the bows with G12 Sea Green - btw, this plain thin white ribbon colored beautifully with copics. I cut out the ladybugs and colored them with Copics R46 Strong Red and made the dots with a sharpie. My paper was DCWV & Papertrey Ink and I used stamps from Papertrey Ink and Peachy Keen. The faux stitching was done with a white Gelly Roll from Sakura.
If you have never done an Easel card and would like to learn, here is a great video tutorial from SCS.

Hello Note Card Challenge Entry
I have been trying to push myself to think outside of the box by entering challenges so I am starting off with this note card I made to enter into two challenges:
Crazy for Challenges - make a monochromatic project
Paper Variety - use threads - floss, ribbon, yarn, lace, twine, etc.
Follow the links above to join the challenges - there is still time!
So I have done a monochromatic card in green (Crazy for Challenges), and tied up my buttons with floss and edged the card with ribbon (Paper Variety Challenge). I also used paper from DCWV, fiskars flower punch and corner rounder punch, a gel pen, and a 'hello' sentiment stamp from Gina K designs. I made this card with plenty of room inside for a nice long note to a far-away friend. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
