This card is for a Cricut Fairy Mission. A mother lost her child a year ago, and we hear that butterflies have always made her feel like her son was near, and this brings her comfort. I can't even imagine what this woman has been through, but if butterflies bring her comfort, I would like to send her a field full of them!
Paper is from DCWV Y Core'dinations, flower stamp is Unity and sentiment is from Verve stamps, the butterflies were made with fiskars punches, and inks are Memento and Tim Holtz distressed.
Welcome and thanks for stopping by! I love your comments and I read every one!

Sympathy Card
I always have such a hard time with sympathy cards, and this was especially hard because it was for a man and I didn't want it to be too lacy flowery, so this is what I came up with. It is very simple, I used a sympathy quote I repeated over and over and printed on my computer for the word background, a couple of distressed flowers cut from tan and brown paper, distressing all over, black ribbons and buttons and a simple sentiment stamped in black. I hope this helps anybody else who has the same block when it comes to sympathy cards.
